Welcome to magic for the modern world. This is Witchery Wednesday, where we don’t hold stock in antiquated rituals. We don’t limit ourselves to the edicts of the past. The only thing permanent in this world is change. And we believe that magic changes with the world. Being a pagan in the current world is weird. We believe in things that science cannot prove. But we know them to be true just the same. We write spells that work, and use the tools that we have to do so. We all have power within us; power to help, to heal, to change. Our world may be different, but our gifts are still needed, and our purpose is the same. Here, for us, “be the change” is not just a nice sentiment. We are the change.   We are the future of tradition. We are magic.

Witchery Wednesday was founded in 2016 by Melankalia Stambaugh and Sparrow Kelley. With decades of non-specific, solitary magic between them, they have been practicing spellwork together for more than 7 years. Having a similar mindset and well-matched talents, the two decided to create a space to share their practical approach to magic and paganism in the 21st century.
